Renovation of a 1960s skillion roofed beach house amongst huge spotted gums looking West across Pittwater.

At one level, this project is all about the simple form of the existing house, great materials, interaction with the steep site, and controlling the way that light is allowed to enter.

At another level, it is a project which expresses the independence, style and informality of its owner.
