Edwards Beach House

A two storey addition to the rear of a 100 year old brick cottage near Balmoral. The old remains old. The new is new. Both halves of the house speak of their own time, and retain a sense of materiality and space. The new rear addition is framed in hardwood and steel, with big openings to engage with the view and allow light and air in.

Charcoal walls, Hardwood Doors and Windows, Tallowood Decking, Blackbutt Floor, Timber / Stainless Steel Kitchen, Sandstone Basement. A great palette of materials.
